Save Data Bonus, or just outright put them in obscure places in the game. The mystery gift method is nice. This year I've gone back to play a bunch of DS and 3DS games I didn't play. Diancie has always been very limited, but in future having a Pokemon like Mewtwo just be inaccessible, not good.

It's not the price that off put me, and I won't lie and say its some "slop" or "shallow" game. But I can't get over that it's a GKC. I don't support the practice on other platforms and I won't just because it's Pokemon. I don't enjoy knowing that TPC could release this on cart, and they didn't. :/

I like the Z-A models a lot more than the more gritty "realism" of the SV ones. Some of the rock and steel types I think look really good in SV but it's Pokémon, bright solid colors look better to me.

To me hunting in S/V if you went "over odds" it felt worse than in say X&Y, SM, SwSh, any other encounter based game. Maybe that was a me thing, but I didn't enjoy hunting as much in Gen 9.

Just finished the story and found two shinies without hunting for them. Pidgey in Wild Area 5 and Weedle outside Wild Area 2. I think with games with massive amounts of over world Pokémon spawns the odds could go up a little bit. But I think this game strikes a good balance with 1/4096 odds.

The Origin forms are only available during raid hours. So unless players are candy grinding. Not a lot of incentive to do them outside those times. But candy grinding already happened two weeks ago. Mega Gyarados will be in regular raids a week after its raid day. Mega Kanto starters... Again...

Pretty weak lineup for raids. Origin form raid hours are kinda cool but they just had a raid day and players that played got compensation for that raid day. The Lati@s raids are just going to be difficult to get people for. And the mega raids until the end of the month (and sharpedo) I don't need.
