Yr of the horse is coming up this Feb, planning to continue my zodiac animal tradition(still working on the snakes 😫)
But I have plans to incorporate my Celtic heritage into it, gonna do some epona emblem for it
Feel like I need to redo some of my zodiac now that I’m following these patterns

I’m not sure, all the photos and vids they have of them seem to negate the sexual dimorphism(unless they’re all one or the other sex) so I can’t tell which is which, but they’re all mules, so close enough to hybridize but not close enough to have fertile young

The Guinea fowl hen is also just your typical one you see on farms, nothing too crazy and the dad is just a regular ol’ peacock
Also interesting how the sexual dimorphism in peafowl is cancelled out(unless they’re all one or the other sex)

More attempts, and experimenting with how much lip, ie lizard lips or other types
I think it was a mix on the tooth length and the angle just threw it all off for me in the end

I never posted these Jane heads, when I was still running research and building this art for it, I eventually switched because the angle was off and I wanted a straight on profile to show the interactions between the teeth and the lips and this angle did not help.

I finally made some pipe cleaner flowers/plants. They’re not amazing and the ones I see online are much longer and not made from dollar store pipe cleaners, but they’re good
