Any vector graphics fans over in Sydney might want to go and pick this up: www.facebook.com/groups/retro...

Incredibly rare Evans & Sutherland PS300 multi-colour vector graphics workstation going for *free* 😱

One of the graphics modes in the V99 engine ( v99.systems ) is an ode to this display.

Oi! There's a new beta of Utopia Must Fall available now. If you've bought the game on Steam* you can check it out by opting into the beta. Works on Steamdeck now too!

* = It's on sale right now and costs less than a pint of beer, and I'm skint because everything else is expensive, please buy it.

London folks! This is tomorrow, I'll be playing musics all afternoon in the courtyard with misc.works pals @mueka.bsky.social and Tengui. Followed by a tight line up of "skeletal DnB", Jungle and adjacent bass music champions in the basement until 01:00. Tip!

When you're halfway through a month, half the screen is filled with shit that's already happened. If you're planning the next 4 weeks you have to constantly flip back and forth between arbitrary 'pages' doing mental gymnastics to remember the first two weeks you want to plan. This is bloody stupid.

This exact issue of Electron User from 1988 is where game dev started for me:
archive.org/details/Elec...

Spending warm summer days indoors making crap animations by defining 8x8 pixel custom chars via manually typed 0-255 binary values made games like Elite seem like ACTUAL WITCHCRAFT.

So the game I'm making with @pixeljamgames.bsky.social got nominated for an IGF award for Excellence In Audio (!) — and we only just realised that means we're also up for the audience award (!)

Please vote for UTOPIA MUST FALL here, if you like:
