For that precise topic, I've liked Roy Pounds' "Ribbon Dancer", www.furaffinity.net/view/224964/ (I believe originally from South Fur Lands 40, chakatsden.com/SFL/issue40.... )...

Alternate take; greymuzzles of good taste simply dislike LLM-created art, and thus all the diffusion-models are simply whatever's been thrown together by newfurs who don't know any better. (... Or, at least, who have been rendered too poor by the omnishambles to commission a real artist.)

For anyone reading this who's interested in both our host and in RSS feeds, don't forget that bsky.app/profile/did:... is still working just fine...

FYI, your RSS feeds seem to not be working; the provided links in the post, elfsternberg.com/rss2/blog and elfsternberg.com/rss2/stories , are both giving me 404 errors, in several browsers, checking from several IP addresses.

Aha, the old 'moist' problem. I remember despising the term 'blog' when it was first contracted from 'web-log'. ... I suppose you never know what sounds off until you hear it; who can tell if they dislike 'frotterotransformationalpartialism' until they hear it?

I've mostly used www.sectorgeneral.com/articlesclas... when I've wanted to re-check who's who.

Only if you want to; though the 'will no one rid me of these troublesome [s]priests[/s] errors' approach does work almost as well.

"But if they were never published, are they *really* part of the series?"

Congratulations on achieving literary apocrypha; if Tolkien lived with it, it can't be all bad. :)

(... But if you're up for doing the data-recovery thing, I would, of course, be more than happy to read new-old Journals...)

Tempted to post an "I understood that reference" meme, but James White still has fans willing to do fannish things: eg, drive.google.com/file/d/17rM2... . (... And now the streams have been crossed, and I'm wondering what a jumpchain for The Journal Entries would look like...)
