Real in the sense it was really used as headline. But fake since this headline was a lie, Fetterman said nothing like that. It is sad seeing New Republic doing tabloid things.

Gelsinger never wore any mask, he was always quite open about the role Christianity plays in his life. It was a bit surprising when he became CEO, but anyway he is quite consistent in this, and we have freedom of religion in this country.

He is scary because such populism failed everywhere, turning every country where it was tried into shithole.

I wonder if they do it intentionally, making the supporters subscribe to gradually bigger and bigger lies. Soft version of mafia initiation, ending in newbie having to kill someone. He would probably refuse initially, but got way too involved by this time.

It will continue working locally though, according to announcement. I.e. it will keep functioning exactly like any other regular local-only thermostat out there. I own a simple 7 day schedule Honeywell thermostat, and it looks like Nest will still do everything mine does. Why "have to replace" ?!

On the other hand, is supporting automated captions in every app worth it? If FB can auto-caption, can the same be done by the screen reader app, regardless of the app (using latest tech available even for old pics)? Of course, some images do need human captions.

Mine was that sleep matters. Without proper sleep I would not lose weight no matter how many calories went in/out. Also, it is easier to avoid overeating when you are asleep :)
