Cape Town based NUFC fan. I do other stuff too but that's not important right now.
Top effort by everyone involved keeping that one quiet.

Sure that probably does make up most of it. There just seemed a lot of reports on internal discussions and actions. Annoyingly a few ended up being accurate. Doubt the club briefs to that extent so I’ve assumed there are some chatty staff members.

If Liverpool then a 75m per season loan for 3 years will work for me.

Seems to be a pervasive narrative of players rejecting us if we don’t sign them. And us holding hostage if it’s another club interested in ours. Seems to all come from engagement farmers and rage baiters from the other place as far as I can tell though.

South African 👋. I used to get loads terrible images over WhatsApp groups with reports of farm murders. Reverse image searches usually reveal them to be linked to articles with South American drug cartel activity implications. Sometimes they would use media “borrowed”from the Yugoslav Wars too.

Whoops. Could be worse I suppose.

My dog barks at rocks. I hold no hope of that boy to wisening up to the emotional rollercoaster on match days.

Scared the life out of my poor dog and knocked over a full beer celebrating it myself. Relieved we didn't end up up needing it but its just sat a bit wrong with me. That line off his shoulder cant fall on the red line surely. Fuck it, we're going to Wembley!!!

Thought my broadcast had the wrong audio. Genuinely can't understand what he was on about.

Interested to find out if the fit is true to the original or if it follows current sizing. Will be ordering from South Africa so need to get it right. My original got pinched when I was in uni. Never quite gotten over that actually.

Dubs has definitely played a role in our build up play recently. And always looks comfortable on the ball. I have a little panic attack anytime a pass gets played back to Pope.

They've been building us up as public enemy #1 for a while now. Atmosphere should be toxic and they'll be man marking the ref. Can't wait. Hoping for an Arteta meltdown in the post match.

Will keep an eye out for that, would appreciate an add if you do.

SJP and other historic grounds might hit a limit on the ability to comply with new regulations soon. For instance, if crowd safety guidelines were updated. The ability to effectively evacuate 65000 into the area around the current site might rule the location out in future plans.

The "us against the world" gritty underdog mentality has been quickly replaced with a sort of entitled expectation quite quickly.

I get the feeling Mitchell inherited some large issues from Ashworth and Staveley. We won't know the full extent for a while. Fully believe they tried to bring in some key players and appreciate them not panic buying just for the sake of it. We still have a good squad, fitness will be key until Jan

It will be as boring as any other corporate asset negotiation. Media has crafted a far more dramatic script for these "sagas" or they wouldn't get views. Also doubt the bids submitted and rejected narrative. More likely they're quibbling over finer points like payment terms or some shit like that.
