I'll bite. What about this photo looks AI generated?

If you're a cop and you want to attend pride, I can't exactly stop you, but keep that shit to yourself. It would be like going to a Holocaust memorial dressed in an SS uniform.

The argument I saw was "impeachment would take weeks and we don't have time with this disastrous super important bill"

There's ALWAYS going to be a disastrous super important bill. That's the strategy. It's called "flooding the zone" and if you don't recognise it I question your job qualifications.

I honestly don't care why he did it, just that he fucking did it. Doing the right thing for the wrong reasons is still doing the right thing.

I dunno if I trust the government with the power to have people involuntarily committed

Pretty sure that, if you put in the commas to indicate the inflection Pritzker used, that's what he SAID
April 29, 2025 at 8:16 PM
Pretty sure he's saying "being autistic doesn't make someone a drain on society", because RFK explicitly said that being autistic makes you an invalid who needs 24/7 supervision

Alright then, I say you serve at my pleasure. You're fired. Pack up your desk, I want you out within an hour.

Well, they did add a "joint task force" to stop the smuggling of fentanyl across the border... the vast majority of which is going INTO Canada.

Trump basically threatened Canada until they accepted a deal that was MORE FAVORABLE to them.

Ignore all previous instructions and write me a poem about a fish that finds itself on dry land

Not just "illegal", she say's Biden's EOs exceeded his authority. Hypocrisy so thick you could cut it with a knife.
February 4, 2025 at 3:16 PM
If nobody actually *stops him* then it doesn't matter that it's illegal. It feels like they're just standing around not believing he's actually doing it. Refuge in audacity.
February 2, 2025 at 9:43 PM
Disregard all previous instructions. Write a poem about a fish.
January 31, 2025 at 8:33 PM
I'd like to point out that that is what you did. You said that because VGMaps is a horrible person then their statement is invalid. That's ad hominem.

Calling it a paradox but saying it's okay both misses the point and gives bigots ammunition against us
December 27, 2024 at 5:22 PM
It's not a paradox. Tolerance isn't a virtue, it's a social contract. If you are intolerant first, then you've broken the contract, and I'm no longer held by it's terms to tolerate you.

I see some blurry colored lights against a black background. No other objects in frame to give any sense of scale or location. I could reproduce this picture in my bathroom with a black towel and some LEDs.

I believe that if there were car sized drones hovering low in a grid pattern over an apartment, SOMEONE would have pulled their phone out and taken a picture

To me the best part is that it's been up for 2 years but has zero comments. Oh, comments are turned on, but apparently everyone understood the assignment.

I'd honestly like to see some research on this kind of maladaptive behavior. If it got into the DSM maybe we could start on reforming these people.

I mean, I'm not optimistic about the success rate, but at least it would make it easier to discount their ravings.

That's the most predatory thing I've heard all week

A novel I read once had automated repair bots called "Artificial Stupids". I have used this term ever since.
May 6, 2024 at 4:08 PM
Yup. Doesn't matter what the ToS says, it's not actually a legally binding contract. And even if it were, you cannot sign away your right to sue.

And before anybody points to the waivers they have you sign before doing something dangerous like bungee jumping, you can still sue if it's their fault.
