Final teaser: Square just started accepting Bitcoin payments through the Lightning network.

This is cool, though Lightning is largely a clunky system at best, fully-permissioned at worst.

Zcash's Zashi wallet recently debuted a feature called CrossPay, where you can swap from ZEC to any asset, simulating Zcash accepted everywhere.

This is pretty cool.

This means that you can buy a real good or service in seconds, no waiting for confirmations.
