🗳 Voting in the @scottishgreens.org internal elections is open until Friday at noon. We're choosing people to fill a host of positions, including the two co-leaders. So far as I recall from past occasions, turnout can be as low as 10-20%. This is just a shout-out to encourage members please to vote!

Happy about government CCS investment? They're a smokescreen for continued fossil fuel extraction. Let's give that cash to poorer households for energy saving measures, raising them from poverty and reducing emissions. International Panel on Climate Change prediction: catastrophe. This science motivates my political career. Some political/media organisations are bankrolled by corporate interests who don't want you to know or believe how much damage they're wreaking on the world. Don't imagine they're on your side.

I support the #RewildingNation proposals from the Scottsh Rewilding Alliance. But we desperately need action at pace and at scale - and it must go hand in hand with rapid decarbonisation of global economies. This requires more than electoral politics. It demands a civic #uprising - #ForLifeOnEarth.
