Universal just posted the trailer and it's real. Oh well... That's unfortunate, it's really exactly like the original, some shots of Toothless could be from the animated film. I can't see the point in this. :(

Oh but they can fake that too. Maybe I'm wrong but I really think it's fake. Toothless is exactly the same + why is there the DreamWorks logo here when a now unrelated live action DreamWorks studio still exists and had nothing to do with the movie? We'll see. 😅

The trailer is most probably fake though. Thanks for your work on the original film, this movie is an absolute masterpiece.

And maybe I'm the one who's wrong but then it's also concerning for me haha. The good news is: we will know at some point.
