You don’t get much more pure art than the neural network of a mouse’s brain.
In a World First, Researchers Mapped Part of a Mouse's Brain in Incredible Detail. It's a Leap Forward for Neuroscience
The 3D brain map includes more than 200,000 cells, 523 million synapses and over two miles of axons, representing the most detailed wiring diagram of a piece of mammal brain ever constructed

Why do video games cost so much to make these days? A recent NYT article pinned bloated budgets on the graphical arms race, but that's only a small part of the equation. The real problem? Rampant mismanagement.

This week's column is a spicy one: www.bloomberg.com/news/newslet...
Why So Many Video Games Cost So Much to Make
Graphical fidelity is only part of the reason that game budgets have swelled to hundreds of millions of dollars

www.businessinsider.com/grocery-stor... interesting to see a lipstick effect in action. Always loved the premise of luxury in brands - and if i’m honest, i should definitely eat better and less ;)
The pantry is a new symbol of success and wealth. Now, this CEO wants her grocery store to be the Sephora of food retail.
Pop Up Grocer's mission to be the Sephora of food retail comes as Gen Z is redefining groceries as a luxury and the pantry as a marker of status.

Not long now to the shortest day. Can’t wait. I don’t mind the cold, but I’m a child of summer and these short grey days are devastating. Bring on the long warm evenings on the beach i say!

So mad with myself. Thought i had cancelled my adobe plan, turns out I fell for the dark UX in their cancellation flow. Now cancelled but £500 out of pocket. Utter crooks.

It’s been interesting to sit in between being a petrolhead and being a product guy in the Jaguar brand debate. I think this interview with Rory Sutherland. Really does sum it up well. youtu.be/OMxzUw8777Q?...

Some days it feels like a.i is literally everywhere, even without a real purpose. It’s rarely useful without the Human intelligence to drive it imho.

Crisp and cold, this is much better than warm and grey. Had a walk yesterday in the sun and felt simply euphoric, certainly compensated for the short days. Bring on the winter solstice. It’s all upward from there!

I must be getting old…

Installed a positive input ventilation system a few days ago. Not a drop of condensation since.

Whats bizarre is how unbelievably chuffed this has made me.
