Today's #solosept junk journal page. I had fun with the layout tearing out the center of a piece of ephemera and gluing it into the opposite page. Having the layouts go across the center is turning out to be one of my favorite things.

So here's a thing. when one of my friends first got sick I bought him a unicorn Pusheen to hug bc I lived too far away. Saw it in a box of possessions after his memorial, and have taken it with me on every trip to share the experience w/him & give him hugs.

Removed the second patch I ever added to my vest. Found out the lead singer of Disturbed signed an Israeli bomb to be dropped on Gaza - this one hurts a lot. I'll have to find some other patches to go in its place, maybe for a band that doesn't support dropping bombs on kids.

I finished the quilt top, or at least the meat and potatoes of it. Could've trimmed the edges down properly, but when have I ever done things the easy way?

Starting a quilt project using my mom's unnecessarily large fat quarter stash with no regard to matching fabric patterns. Cut two at a time, swapped sides, sewed together. Repeat until bored or too difficult.

And it's done! I made many nurses at the hospital snicker while working on this and sitting with my mom. Best cross stitch 🪡 I've done in a while. Hanging up on my wall now.
Definitely want to make it again, with black fabric and multicolor thread in the trans flag colors.

I'm very sad. I knitted these gloves to keep my hands warm while traveling and somewhere between PHX and Orlando I lost them. I got to wear them once.
I struggle with accepting that cottagecore stuff can be masc and made these as an act of defiance. I hope whoever ends up with them loves them. ):

I've been making some dangly crochet 🧶 things out of leftover scrap yarn to use as barter at wasteland weekend and uranium springs events, and adding decorative bits to the bottom. I know there's a pattern but I've forgotten what it is at this point XD

Tonight's crochet project: dice bags for the gamer's market I'm vending at. They'll fit about two standard dice sets, plus a couple spares. They're a nice leftover yarn project for my nicer yarn. Front are in acrylic, multicolor ones in the back are cotton.
