It's easy to get stuck pursuing an idealized indie game - the Fez of Brazil, India, Peru, etc
But that ignores the material conditions of each country. Maybe our top indies are not platformers with pixel art, but a mod for a PS2 soccer game - that's still being updated because BRs still play on PS2
