It’s not my opinion. It’s an argument that exists. Certain mainstream media get all frothy in their claims the BBC has been captured by ‘the left’. Ergo, the argument exists.

To a point, I agree. It could also be argued that the BBC has kowtowed to the left. The BBC should listen to criticism and consider it, but not be swayed by the loud voices of activism, which invariably harbour a rancorous agenda.

Exactly. You don’t have to take a belt to a kid to guide them in the right direction. Parenting comes with setting an example, and if you don’t guide them, next thing, it’ll be “Burning houses…? It’s what kids do.”
