Yesterday I got to meet one of my very favorite gear makers! I spent the day feeling happy and inspired. I was so lucky to see a workspace with so many cool sewing machines and to make such kind and talented friends! Definitely a highlight of my trip!

During my ryokan stay in the Japanese countryside this weekend, I got to meet a young sewing enthusiast who began learning the same way I did: making vests for a stuffed animal 😻
