If I ever made someone uncomfortable, I’d feel TERRIBLE about it. I would do everything I could to try to make it up to anyone I might’ve possibly hurt, even if it was a misunderstanding. I wouldn’t attack their character and try to drag their name through the mud. That’s what predators do.
Someone quietly and politely setting boundaries with someone who made them feel uncomfortable is not “spreading lies.”
You don’t get to decide whether or not you made someone uncomfortable. You don’t get to dictate to someone their feelings or how they choose to handle it.
