Last I checked there only teams competing for the USOC are MLS teams…seems like they care about the tournament.
-The reg season is still just as important given that out of 30 teams only 2 have been eliminated with 8 games remaining for most teams.

It honestly sounds like USL fans are delusional in thinking that soccer is super popular and that they are going to appeal to Euro fans if they have an open system. Could you guys actually talk about this topic without having rose tinted glasses?

Jason, I like listening the podcast but the pro/rel conversations are ridiculous. It sounds to me like USL supporters are willing to sacrifice anything just have this system. This includes lack of SSS and having expansion teams in small markets.

Maybe US Soccer should actually come up with a real formatted system that has all of the MLS and USL teams competing in this tournament. Also, maybe they should actually advertise and promote and through some really money behind winning the Cup.

I just want to say, while I appreciate a good troll as much as the next person, this was a waste of question. I was actually hoping I would get to ask him about his stance on Ukraine and was hoping to hear that he would support bipartisan legislation to keep Ukraine funded. Good troll though

Just personal experience here, but most of these maga voter don’t care. They want to US to make everything here. They are perfectly ok with driving up cost and destroying the economy to meet this end. They seem to be under the illusion that Trump is going to end globalism.
