I really appreciate this. I've got one really good friend and a colleague that were both diagnosed as adults. Im really leaning on them. Im over communicating to the family, just want to be sure I stay myself too. Ty so much for saying this.

Okay, so one symptom I had was not being able to get out of an emotion, whether something bad or good happened. It was extremely hard for me to level.

Day two is a little different. Not gonna be just roses. I'm guessing as we find the right dosage, i felt i had two really good hours of being able to concentrate. I wouldn't notice before, but now I recognize much better when I am being scatter brained. Taking a break until Monday

They do have add meds that do not have methamphetamine. They work differently (what i found, they don't know WHY uppers work, just that they do). Also, im taking a very low dose. Very low

I cant remember on one part of the test exactly, but she said three yes answers in this section were an automatic diagnosis, i had 9.

Im not sure the science on that but know to what you are referring. The actual test was pretty quick plus some questions. It was with an established Dr. I never considered it tbh, it took those around me to encourage me to bring it up to my dr.

It's only one day. I asked those around me if I was moving slower or talking slower, I wasn't, but it felt like it. I got zero "upper" feeling which I was worried about. I didn't feel foggy, but I FELT i was moving slower. It wears off which is another feeling I wasn't expecting

Thats awesome. It's one day and i have a friend that is diagnosed as well. His advice has been great. Not going to lie, the silence was intimidating. He suggested some stimulus in the background (music, whatever). Helped a lot.
