Aye they were. Alien Breed was a great franchise. Oot o all o them I reckon Tower Assault was my favourite. The 3D games were great tae as long as your A1200 was accelerated. Also think Project X wasnae given enough appreciation.

Definitely. What the story and characters lack the mechanics and graphics make up for. In my friends group I was the only one that the junctioning system just clicked with. When you've finished the game you need to do some research on the story as there are so many theories.

I'm autistic and don't sleep much. I've played through that game so many times setting myself challenges like limiting materia or equipment. Then 8 took over my life. You should definitely do 8 next.

So many fond memories of that game. It was the one that made the franchise big here in the UK. I was one of the few that had played the other entries that had English translations as I used to import games from the Snes era onwards. So I pre-ordered it. Raced home after work to play it.

I'm driving what I can only describe as the game's equivalent of a Cosworth. So I drive in at high speed and as I impact with the leader I hit the handbrake pulling a a 360 before taking off. It was fluke. I got a 'Crazy Bastard' bonus. For years until YouTube none of my friends would believe me 🤣
