I was in Goa a long time ago, 1989, and they are pretty much the staple foods there. Everywhere I went English was widely understood between locals and foreigners, so I wouldn’t fret too much.

If your argument is that the human race evolved in Africa so therefore all music is black, then that’s just ridiculous.
