The remains were returned to their families on Jeju on Tuesday. I wish this was bigger news. The massacre is still an open wound on the island.

It goes straight to the heart of the founding idea of South Korea.

Though only on Jeju for about six weeks, his policies are widely seen here as paving the way for the slaughter to come.

His memorial stone on the island has been a sight of dueling narratives.

Looking more into this, this is a dead lawsuit. Florida's claims about what the organizations recommend are flat-out wrong.
