I got to spend the last week helping to build houses in El Salvador. Our team built 18 houses for people in remote villages who are barely surviving. Helping to build them a secure, dry, lockable house gives them a step forward and a leg up.
We got to see old friends in Jorge and Maritza - they helped us build the first houses in 2007 and we try to see them whenever we come. Do Justice Love Mercy Walk Humbly Micah 6:8 David is one of the best builders I’ve ever worked with in my trips. He’s fast, accurate and a great leader. He never makes anybody feel like they are less than and makes every build a dream. Some garbage humans came around and scammed this family of around 3 weeks of wages and disappeared. She initially thought our offer of a house might be a lie - we were able to make sure this house was real and build a little more hope for them.
