Managed to get some hobby done ahead of a local painting competition - the Light of Eltharion miniature from Warhammer Age of Sigmar was a really lovely model to paint (and very different to the hordes of Imperial guard I have on my painting to do list)

We've been away in Copenhagen this week for the European Microscopy Congress (lots of interesting new electron microscope detectors to look at). It's fair to say Suki was happy to see us get home.

As a parent to a toddler, I find new conundrums. For instance, in the song "bibbidi bobbidi boo" from Sleeping Beauty, the ingredients to make bibbidi bobbidi boo already include bibbidi bobbidi boo - are the other ingredients redundant, or is this like a sourdough recipe where you need a starter?
