This anticipated executive order from President Trump to dismantle the Department of Education poses an existential threat to our public education system and our state finances.

The Governor’s focus on infrastructure and education are two things I’m most focused on coming out of tonight’s State of the State address. We’ve made great strides these last two years in those two areas — and I’m committed this year to doing even more for Downriver and Western Wayne County.

Coffee, flowers, bananas, and many other items are about to be at least 25% more expensive because of Trump.
