Yes, it really has stuck with me some 20 years later. For some reason this one really transported me to the time and their world. Very well done by the author. Embarrassingly, I haven’t read any of his other works for some odd reason. I need to fix that.

I need to break this habit of checking the news. I’ve succeeded on some days since the Election and those were better days. 🙂

I agree. I finally read it four years ago (and again last year when my daughter read it for a class). It was nothing like I had expected. It has so many layers. I think about this book more than most I’ve read. I love it!
