I think all we need now is the E2EE part of the RCS to get sorted and we're in a really good place with interoperability between Android and iOS. This is all good for all consumers, no matter what OS you use.

Yeah, most Android apps suck on tablets. But PWAs are an option and I actually found I prefer them most of the time. Google should really embrace that as their answer to the problem of sucky Android tablet apps.
