It used to be common for therapists (and a few still do) to a therapy office attached to their home.

I use to think I wanted psychoanalysis to be my totalizing world view but I had this spiritual/emotional experience that I didn’t feel psychoanalysis could do justice to; I needed theology.

I think it’s easier for theology to subsume psychology and enrich it without flattening than vice versa.
