Tonight’s movie is “The War Game,” by the recently departed Peter Watkins. Watkins was something of a folk hero among independent filmmakers. Despite being banned by the BBC (it didn’t air until 1985), the film won a Best Documentary Oscar. We’re watching the Blu-ray from my personal collection.
