I hope it hasn't come to that! Everyone I know is working diligently despite so many difficulties. Life is irregular, paths unpredictable. Archetypes are ideals not reality. It is time to embrace the anomalies around and within us. Ditto for conferencing.

Absolutely no disrespect to those using these platforms to boost visibility. I've done so myself in times past and may do so again. But let's not segment those with online presences and those without. To the tweeters (skypers...)be the spoils??

preference or opinion that did not originate in ourselves. Why? Who knows. Profit, politics, power... I don't follow anyone but my kids on instagram which has been an interesting experiment with the algorithm. It knows what I like by how long I linger on a post.

Also working on my nonprofit mobilization and Indigenous democracy research. I'll still be in my post doc role at KU studying state preemption and tribal flood mitigation until next spring. Very important projects btw! But lots of irons in the fire lest I bore 🔥🗡️🔥
