Middle aged British guy, from Darlington but live in London. Golf, most other sports, travel, crosswords but hopefully not cross words
I thought he rented a property in Clacton from his foreign wife which was definitely bought with her money which magically appeared in her bank account from nowhere, which often happens apparently. Mind you I bet he hardly ever uses it …

So about 0.21 sleeps until “why does crawley still get picked?” Then …

It doesn’t happen for real, they dance a bit, act a bit, cuddle a bit. Joshua gets a win and his money and Paul walks away largely unharmed. It’s big daddy on dickie Davies’ world of sport stuff

Ours is still in the cupboard. But London has been stupidly mild recently, I feel a bit ashamed our heating is on for half an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening

Seems a bad move on his part to break a contract this quickly for this particular opportunity. Hes still young enough that other, better, chances would’ve come along. Maybe even Wolves again but a better version…

The whole of my neighbourhood must’ve allowed their kids of a certain generation to name their cats as it’s all Nala and Simba

Where are you more broadly on “lift and separate”? I must admit I find both examples at the more acceptable end, but perhaps only as they appear at the easier end? Or is your objection a different one?

If you ask for a trick he’ll make you work out a Spooner based crossword clue 😱

I would assume that if they did it would be on the basis that the judges directions to the jury were incorrect in law… but I am not in a position to make an assessment of that

Are you auditioning for the next series of Midsomer Murders?

While i might agree with the decision, id be surprised if this isn’t appealed …

I don’t understand why ‘we’ can’t shift the asylum claims backlog? The Tories seemed to be happy to let it rise, but I was hoping this administration would chuck some resources at it and reduce the problem that way

Did you get the bus?
October 29, 2025 at 6:03 PM
I liked it, albeit I thought it might be more suited to Tuesday to Friday than Monday?

Wondering out loud (as a white man) about how useful it is to define people as racist as opposed to defining actions/words as being racist.I suspect we all say/do racist things, even people with the best of intentions.
Of course if someone consistently acts or speaks that way maybe it’s fair enough!
