I wrote a thing this morning🫣
I should probably wake up; but the rhythm of your breath rocks me back to sleep. I should probably open my eyes; but no weighted blanket brings the same comfort as your legs wrapped around me. How could I possibly stand when your arms twist around me like vines? They find their way under my shirt to my throat. Then, you whisper "mine" against the back of my neck. Well maybe I could open my eyes; but you have lit a fire in my belly. my is heart pounding through every cell of my body. Okay, okay, I'm awake; but our skin peels apart from a night stuck together. It leaves a chill where we are no longer touching. Okay, I'll quietly stand; but then you reach over and slur a sleepy "I love you" with your eyes still closed. Now I just wanna crawl back and press myself to you. "Good morning, I love you" I whisper my reply as I tip toe out of our dim, sleepy, bedroom.
