Teaching lovely costume students tomorrow and we are looking at the characterisation of the iconic Miss Havisham through the deterioration of her wedding dress. Here she is perhaps in happier times when the dress was new and her hopes were high, early #1830s, LACMA #FashionHistory 🗃️🪡
