A small squeak of noise breaks from my vocal chords, surprised at the sudden lift. Clinging a little tighter it doesn't take much to notice how close our faces our... his mouth is.
My mahogany irises drop to his chocolate lips, and my heart pounds a thick and rapid beat against my rib cage.
