this has def been my experience solo queueing. playing with even 1 friend so you can both attempt to pick up slack when the other team members go oops all dps makes the entire experience miles better.

as a relatively newer player to the game (starting with all will be one) my opinions on the art isn't quite as strong. i wouldn't go as far as to say the art is ugly or cheap, though i would agree i don't find it fits with the "ideal" mtg aesthetic.

honestly same, i'm glad people are excited for it but man i just don't really care about final fantasy. raising the cost of standard legal product probably doesn't help my opinion on the set either.

i briefly considered it for All Will Be One because that set got me started in magic, and maybe one day i will buy the finance sink involved just isn't practical. maybe one day

Built the Tolarian Community College "Build your own precon" list of this with Lurrus as companion. The deck excels at grinding into the mud and stopping others from winning long enough to slam a combo with several layers of protection, and can occasionally just full send a combo early on.
