Here are the results of the compression test. The desired reading is above 195 and the gauge reads ± 10%. They also need to be within 15 psi of each other. I'm a little concerned about cylinder 2 but it's close and the gauge isn't perfectly accurate so it should be fine.

I'm tearing into my motor a bit today. I've done a compression test so far and the numbers are ok, not amazing but not awful for 100k miles. Next I'm going to replace the knock sensors with the updated 2018+ part which are less prone to water intrusion. I might also clean the valves.

I wrapped my steering wheel. The old vinyl was peeling off and it felt awful in my hands. Thanks @this-is-a-cat.bsky.social for buying me this awesome cover. It took me 5 hours to hand stitch it on. #subaru #wrx

I wish I had $700 to drop on wheels. The OE wheels I have are curb rashed and I hate black wheels. Fitment industries has these on sale.

I just replaced the spark plugs in the WRX. I was having an issue where the engine would occasionally stumble on boost and that seems to be gone now. The job is not as bad as people make it out to be. I also installed a cheap Android head unit last week. #carfurs #subaru #wrx

I put money down on this 2015 WRX. It needs a little work but it's in good condition for 97,000 miles. They just put in a new clutch, shocks and struts. I just need my bank to cut the finance check.

So I had to wait to post about this but last night I was in a car accident. I'm ok but the car is totaled. The other person's insurance accepted 100% liability and I have a rental for a short while.
