my favorite Saturn game of all time! definitely right behind Gunstar Heroes as far as favorite Treasure game. awesome intro, great graphics, killer soundtrack and fun gameplay this has it all!

#randomgamesaturday I guess I'm legally obligated to have ET if I'm doing a 2600 collection? nevermind all that urban legend stuff about causing the Great Videogame Crash of '82-'83 or being the worst videogame ever made, but it was at least a harbinger of bad licensed tie-ins for years to come!

just got these in yesterday! import version of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and NFL Blitz 2000 on Dreamcast! although I forgot to watch out for those bugged 1st printings of that game, so I may have to replace it with the 'HOT NEW!" version with the fixes later.

First new year's pickup! better late than never for Dragon Quest 1+2 HD2D! Soon as I discovered this was the alternate cover I knew there was no going back to default. also a new D&D miniature I found off of ebay.

it's been a hot minute for us, but for this year's free comic book day we hit up a local joint that was right next door to the comic shop!! (I don't have video but had to reshare these pictures of @miishiikins.bsky.social and I!) hoping to hit them up again for our 15th anniversary this next month!

indeed... it may not have done super well in the US but I had heard it was a pretty big deal in Japan! I picked up a Japanese unit a few years ago and been collecting since (the pseudo saturn-kai cart helped a lot!) it's a great system one of my favorites. shoutout to my favorite game on the system!

#randomgamesaturday yeah had to shout out my favorite pickup this month! retro-bit games' Undeadline! I had heard of it a little bit previously and probably played a few minutes of the OG Megadrive version as a rom, but I was happy to put in for this one back in may! Even as difficult as it is...

after @johnriggs.bsky.social did the video on neokyo, I was curious to check them out! had a backlog of DDR imports I never got around to, so I thought I'd start my first shipment with those. (plus the soundtrack to Disney's RAVE, for not reading the description, oops!)

so even though we already kinda did gifts this year and didn't do a tree last year I thought we should go ahead and do one this year! @miishiikins.bsky.social bought the plates so we could keep the cat away from messing with it, so far so good!
