Even though the value of that segment will have the same information of the viewport (innerWidth/Height)? Bringing no value whatsoever?

But why though? Semantically a segment is a part of something that is divided. If the viewport is not divided, then there are no segments. When the device is not folded there are no divisions therefore no segments. Why would you treat it differently than a regular device?
