they updated steam link today, and the latency is impressive. manually limited to 768 res and 100 mbps, <15 ms and the focus are is sharp.

this is also wifi 6 5ghz on my quest 2. frame is wifi 7 and dedi 6ghz

Based on the features and way it was launched, I think this is Valve's answer to fill a market segment. We typically have "Quest or $1,500+ setup". but now we might finally have a higher quality and more open option than a Quest 3 that isn't wildly expensive

perhaps, idk. I don't have high hopes for it. you might get away with some smaller worlds and small instances, but you can probably never go to an instance with more than 20 people, and never show very poor I'd imagine

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, so, a faster Quest 3 kinda. Probably not unfortunately.
