(I'm assuming that's for DnD 5e?) Read the Player's Handbook, especially chapters 7, 8, 9, 10.
I'd also recommend watching a few live-plays, not with the expectation that you should behave like professional GMs, but to get a sense of the flow of the game and see the rules in action
