Australia has a distinct geographic footprint in climatology, made worse by climate change. The desired areas are limited to the coasts, the east coast, the south, and the southwest. I agree that the liberal party has made the problem of affordability horrible today. It's called 'neoliberalism.'

Australia is facing a huge real estate crisis
Australia's housing crunch is increasingly shaped by climate change and geography, as extreme weather makes some areas less habitable or insurable, driving demand and prices up in "safer" regions.

James Hansen (and you) were right. Below 1.5 °C might not be seen again- unless a mega volcano or sudden orbital shift magically happens. Copernicus now predicts April 2029 as the time we pass 1.5 °C 'permanently.

Your analysis suggests that society is facing a potential, unprecedented perfect storm, making a repeat of the 1929-1933 period look mild by comparison. This is a sober, data-driven perspective on the severe challenges currently facing global civilization.

The assertion that
2.5°C warming by 2100 is an underestimation, is supported by recent data and expert opinion, with current policies leading to projections closer to 2.7°C, and some scientists expecting higher.

27ppm rise in 10 years. Using the Milankovitch cycles over the last 800,000 years, from ice age to interglacial, the rise would take 2,000 years. Thy kingdom come when the inertia in the climate system reveals its ugly head.

How can these useless neoliberal Trump enablers be kicked out of the democratic party? Durbin is weak and feckless.

Bill Gates is a horrible person. The corruption and corrosion of this culture continues with the idealization of billionaires.

I am a gay man- luckily living in Connecticut. Been a climate activist starting in 2009 after reading James Hansen's 'Storms of My Grandchildren'. However I got a great foundation at UCONN taking courses in climatology in the mid 70s.
