I keep telling myself I need to do smaller attacks to speed up. And I keep finding full body poses that'd work great for the character and going for those instead. Crystallizing the pigtails was tricky but fun. #artfight2025

I was really excited to draw a pony this year, it was very fun. Getting the pose right was a lot harder than I thought. But I really love how it turned out! I think I did really well for my very first pony art, didn't I? #artfight2025

Took me several tries to figure out the pose. And even longer to get all the scales in. I actually started lineless and added lines later for clarity. The crystal isn't as pronounced, but it's all over the scales and wings. #artfight2025

Went all out on this one trying to get all the details in there. I ended up making the crystaline hair a bit more understated because I thought it'd get too busy otherwise. My hand is cramped, but I think it came out really cool. ^^

Crystalizing something that already has a bright white fur was quite the challenge. But I think it came out super sparkly and fun looking. I also aimed for a cute pose that gave a sense of movement and using the wings.

Struggled a bit with the posing, having the head tilted back with an expression of wonder along with the several layers of clothes.
Had this really cool idea of starry magic mingling with fire magic, plus the crystal effects. And I am glad I went for it.

I felt the dark full would work really well to make the crystal highlights pop. Definitely struggled with the legs and paws, anthro characters are very fun to draw, but I definitely need more practice.

I simply had to try crystalize her purple skin, I think it turned out really neat. I purposefully left the hair uncrystalized to get a contrast between soft flowy hair and the sharp facets on her face. #artfight2025

When I saw the slight pink in his dark hair I knew Ravi would be very fun to crystalize. Because it felt like there was too little crystal, I made his coat extra crystal and fancy as well. (Maybe it's magic, who knows. I thought an extra sparkly coat would fit him.)

Once again right before artfight I make the mistake of really really wanting to finish a drawing of my own character instead of saving my energy.
