I swapped to blender for my renders, it's so much faster than daz. I typically set the render for three minutes in cycles, with denoiser on. majority of the time, there wasn't a noticable diff in detail for render times longer than that.

i dont even know what custom split normals are but i know that i have to clear them every time i import something or it'll be hella farked 💀

dude yeah thats the same problem i've had. especially after exporting my scenes to blender with diffeomorphic. the dicks are just VIOLENTLY ORANGE. but digging through the shader nodes the culprit is overactive exposure and gamma settings.

oh yeah. the texture setups are... a lot. 😅 whats real annoying is trying to get any geoshells and the like to work properly while having the extra appendages attached.
