It is with great sadness that we report the passing of our friend, longtime motion picture theatre owner Lance Alspaugh, who died last week at the age of 66 from cancer. As the owner of Los Feliz, CA's historic Vista Theatre, Lance hosted a number of special Dark Shadows screenings and events.

We are sad to report that longtime Dark Shadows cameraman John Field Wood died back in May at the age of 93. As part of ABC’s camera staff, John worked on several daytime soaps, along with ABC’s Wide World of Sports. He won an Emmy Award for his work on the 1984 Summer Olympics.

Many happy returns to Dark Shadows' Maggie Evans, actor Kathryn Leigh Scott, who celebrates her 82nd birthday today.

We're sad to report that actor Gwen Van Dam died on December 19, aged 96. Her 70-year career included guest spots on The Brady Bunch, Modern Family and Gilmore Girls, along with an early non-speaking appearance as Mrs Hopewell's secretary on #DarkShadows.
