Back to improving the combat system: enemies get exhausted when they miss you several times in a row 😮‍💨

The animation is probably not the best and needs to be changed but hey, at least it’s functional!

Early testers said our character movement felt too “floaty”, especially during jumps

We made some tweaks, including adding fake gravity

It feels more grounded and satisfying now, but it’s still a WIP

Enemies no longer just dash to attack you, they can now run up to you and attack both from a distance and up close. Animations and timings still need tweaking, but it’s functional

Our parry system was already in place but not easy to pull off and not obvious enough once you do

Now we have the stun animation on enemies (ignore sliding back for now 🥲)

Quick update: we now have a secret passage mechanic in place

It allows us to hide certain sections of the map

Some collectible items will be tucked away in these hidden spots 🤫

We’re blocking out levels and testing our narration system. For now, it's placeholder text and an AI-generated voice, but soon it’ll be replaced by a real voice actor.

Quick update: this bug is fixed 🔨

It now works flawlessly, you can push and pull boxes from any side (and while standing next to them)

Animations need a bit more work, but it’s fully functional

Traps don’t discriminate 😈 They are now just as lethal to enemies as they are to you

We love how classic Disney shaded characters differently from their environments

Originally a tech limitation, but it gave them a unique look

We're inspired by that and our characters use a separate shader to stand out
