Honestly while I get the donut tutorial being mentioned it's actually not a good tutorial to start off with since it only gives you a very slight grasp on making characters, a small prop modeling session like "make a glass of water" is a bit better for learning problem solving and learning quickly

Oh and final tip: find a model you like allot or ask to borrow it from a friend and check what they are doing. Stealing tricks is what will make you grow the fastest. Blender studio has allot of models free to download so I'd recommend you get those and check what they are doing

Anyone who talks about topology or retopology

I wanna be an animator for tips on animation

Yansculpts for sculpting

And maybe look up hardsurface tutorials

These guys taught me everything I needed for character creation. Hope it helps!
