Agree to the conditions and laws, as their own conditions and laws allow them to. Can you say they really have nothing to keep them from agreeing?

I will go ahead assume the studio assignments are basically Hoyo telling VAs, "Work with X to record your lines for us" rather than VAs having studios that handle them

Which they appear to be doing with their story relevant VAs. It seems they're accommodating enough to their previous cast in that they are not recasting them, but in no rush to relocate them or push a decision to studios seeing as they get lines for maybe 1-2 events per year.

I may be wrong, but as a Chinese company Hoyo themselves can't work with any unions outside of China. Would them enforcing the protections go against that since that sort of enforcement would kind of be union behavior? It seems their option is to find US-based studios that can accommodate their VAs

Which for the most part they appear to be doing so, respecting the VAs that they've had to silent, minus one but I don't have enough information to argue that, so the expectation would be either Hoyo stepping in and forcing the problem studios or arrange for the striking VAs into other studios.

Okay, now am I wrong in that Hoyo/Genshin has no particular say in offering that? The AI protections would have to be put in place of the studios they contracted to deal with all their VAs correct? Really all Hoyo could do is start arranging for their talent to be moved to different studios.

From what I understand, the VAs, union or not, want AI protections in their contract. This is their primary concern, am I correct in that?
