There's the "I want shorter games worse graphics not kidding etc etc" phrase, how about "I want artists to be able to make mistakes and make weird unappealing shit sometimes and not starve"

Just as a heads up, even some modern mid range TVs have high refresh rates but a lot of companies will have "fake refresh rate" specs like "LG trumotion 120" where they market their motion smoothing tech as if its the native refresh rate, so you just gotta really double check before you buy anything

I just saw an online tournament for this game a week ago. Did they recently announce somewhere that online was being removed or are you just mistaken?

a friend of mine who's worked on a somewhat recent free multiplayer game says this about player feedback that I feel like is very astute
hearing the feedback is frequently important but responding to it well almost never means just doing what the players say they want

a friend of mine who's worked on a somewhat recent free multiplayer game says this about player feedback that I feel like is very astute

It hit me a few months ago that they're just applying AI artifacts to non-generated content so people cant notice the difference as much. On facebook, old memes are reposted with AI filters that make the text and faces really distorted and Ive even seen those versions circulate on twitter.
