I abandoned this last year as it wasn't what I had in my minds eye - but after a break, I thought 'I can fix him' - it's not perfect, but it's not terrible either I guess

My digital colour process, because it isn't planned in advance, is sometimes such a sensory overload that I stop being able to tell what's working - and it then becomes more important just to get the layers sorted so a better, future me can come back to it later

I think artists can go through cycles where their work changes so much every year that stuff that's old isn't interesting or shows weakness... until it gets really old and you start to get nostalgic about it

An unfortunate fact about life is that the people who will be part of hiring you (normal career people) for larger projects will only be on LinkedIn huffing their own farts, and don't interact with wider social media like the rest of us

I tend to use the tablet with no screen for more point and click work, if your particular art process has such a thing like moving layers around or magic wand type stuff, and a little bit of drawing touch ups, as it's generally easier than mouse - can be very hard to soley do drawing work on tho

haha yeah was thinking the same - not sure what happened to the meticulous collection of evidence method when your reason is - 'this stranger kind of looked funny in the first 5 minutes of the game'
