I did my best to repair and save this lovely little wash cabinet from the late 1890’s. The drawers and door feature a beautiful burled walnut. Back in its heyday this would have a bowl of water for washing and possibly a mirror behind it. Looking for a good home for this piece’s afterlife.

I would love to know the full story behind this little desk. It has that number ‘10’ in a matching carved mark on the underside of the main top piece. So thankful that I found it and am able to give it a better afterlife. #art #history
