Wait, what happened to the hundreds of millions? Settle? This is bullshit. That case wasn't just for a voting machine company, it was for the entire nation.

Trump is basically ending our importance in the world, our influence. If you think "America First" is something to vote for, you're basically asking to become North Korea. Because the rest of the world will cut us off for being a bully.

If you want to silo the US and cut off the rest of the world, well, you've just sentanced the american public to the same fate as the North Koreans. Because when you cut off friends and allies, they do the same.

And as you've probably noticed with Trump's rediculous tariffs, they've matched them.

North Korea is stuck in the 1960's. Iran in the 1980's. It's profound. Trade and the exchange of ideas is everything. And the thought that we have everything we need and we don't need anyone else and we're spending too much money on the world outside is a complete joke.

You'll see very obvious signs of an economy that is run by a leadership that has been cut off by the organization lead by the US. You might think sactions are meaningless. But they result in small cuts that compound over the years. After a decade, they are profound.

We made sure that piracy was fought, and illegal trade regimes were countered. And because we put so much effort into this, we grew to be the #1, most wealthiest country in the world. And we benefit from this in countless ways. For one, look at North Korea or Iran at night by Satellight.

I don't think this is going to play out this way. When you say "democratize", what you're saying is that it lowers the bar to develop ideas. But that effort is a moat. Without it, an idea can be easily stolen.

And what's to prevent AIs that learn from being the first to co-opt new ideas?

I don't understand why immigration courts don't just all switch to remote zoom meetings. They all know this is going on -- the judges, the lawyers, the administrators... They all know this is illegal.

So why continue to allow their tactics? Make all immigration court hearings remote.
